Specify any of these material styles for your trim

For any custom shade, if you want a trim different than the material style you select, make sure to specify the exact trim you require for each shade. Enter your request using the comment box just prior to completing the checkout process.

To determine the amount of trim required for a lamp shade, follow these guidelines:

Round shades and oval shades
Measure the top and bottom diameter of the shade at the widest part in inches. Add the two numbers together. Multiply the result by 4. That's how much trim we need for each shade. Remember, there are 36 inches in one yard of trim.

Square shades and rectangle shades
Measure each individual length of the shade at the top and bottom of the shade. You may need to make 8 measurements. Add those numbers together and add an additional 5 inches for overlap.
