4 X 19 X 17 Bell Pagoda with Down Scallop
Inspired by one of my favorite time periods (circa 1940) in decorating that is favored by one of my all time favorite decorators today, Chiqui Woolworth. Her interiors and taste level is exceptional. Look her up if you are not familiar with her work. This extra large proportioned bell down scallop pagoda measures 19 in bottom diameter and 17" overall height and has a brass spider and requires a 13 inch harp. The opening at the top is 4". Using an off white silk shantung exterioralong with a crispwhite silk interior, this shade is finely executed with a coordinatingMokuba 1/8silver cord sewn by hand one either side of the narrow bias trim covering the vertical wire structure. This shade is quite special. The hours and talent needed to create something like this is a by-gone talent and skill.
