9 x 16 x 13 Inverted Scallop Knife Pleated Ivory Charmeuse with Lori Weitzner Pleated Border

Inspired by the great Hollywood movie sets of the 1940's when every lampshade and lamp were a focal point in the room. This inverted scallop charmeuse lampshade is pleated with a knife pleat that is about 1/2 inch and it is finished with Samuel and Son's Jean Paulombre Pleated Border color 09 Cumulus Ombre gimp. It measures 9" point to point on top, 16" point to point on bottom, 13" slant, and has a brass washer spider and requires a 10in harp.

The frame, fabric, trims and other materials that comprise a designer studio lampshade were locally sourced and are sewn together by our skilled sewer. No automated or mass production processes are used to create our lampshades. Every lampshade we create in our studio is made one at a time, unique and truly a labor of love-stitch by stitch. And glue is always used sparingly.
