Sexy Hour Glass Stretched Charmeuse Drum Lampshade

A lampshade like no other... Inspired by the great movie sets of the 1940's, this hour-glass drum is a tailored masterpiece. We start with a thick 8 wire welded frame and bend the wires in to form the hourglass shape. Each wire is hand wrapped with rayon tape then stretch charmeuse silk in a color of your choice is sewn creating this shape. We can finish the top and bottom with a 3/8 cord, again of your choice to complete your design aesthetic. You can also chose the silk for the interior. The side seams are piped with hand made trim. Completely couture. Note: no vertical wires are shown when it's lighted. Dimensions are 19 inch top, 20 inch bottom and 18 inch height. You will not find many who can fabricate such brilliance like illume. We love what we do. This shade was a custom job for a wonderful lady on Sutton Place who wanted something dramatic for her Italian Platinum Gilt Donghia Floor Lamp.
