Cocteau Inspired Lampshade by NYC Artist
Quick Overview
I have always loved Cocteau from before I knew he was 'Cocteau.' From the first time I watched his 1949 Beauty and the Beast I thought it was the most amazing fantasy created for the screen and it was 20 years before me. I have a very talented artist friend Frank Foster Post who shares and gets my enthusiasm for Cocteau and created these works of art for illume. Each is hand painted on our famous aquarelle french cotton paper. They are translucent cream when lighted. They have a white powder coated washer spider fitter. The 14 inch requires a 10" harp and the 17 inch requires an 11 inch harp. They're quite special indeed.
