Quick Overview

This pair ofbeautiful mirrored sconces were made by the Edward F. Caldwell & Co NYC around 1920. Rewired and ready to go. No apologies. Mirror and patina perfect with age and use.

There is a decorator book I love called "One Man's Folly: The Exceptional Houses of Furlow Gatewood" Book by Julia Reed. In it, Furlow uses these mirrored sconces in most every room, above fireplaces, entry ways, some are not even electrified. He's a genius to me.

Edward F. Caldwell & Co., of NYC, was one of the premierdesignersand manufacturers of electric light fixturesand decorativemetalworkfrom the late 19th to the mid-20th centuries.
