Pair Hollywood Iron Floor Torcheres - Norma Desmond Pickfair Hearst Castle Billy Haines

I found this pair of wrought iron and decorated torcheres in need of a giant hug.  I removed all the rust anf then had them micro sandblasted for the original surface to be revealed.  I was pleasewd with my effort then sealed the bronze elements for further preservation.  I look at them and the great Hollywood estates of Douglas Fairbanks' PickFair, 10086 Sunset Boulevard, Joan Crawford's home with Douglas Fairbanks Jr and Franchot Tone all come to mind.  They are the key to romance that has left so many interiors of today.  Think a Fortuny half shade or a rich velvet.  Theatrical and special, or in your beach home with a raffia or woven paper?  They stand 64.5 inches tall and about 11 inches at the base.
