This shade is equipped with a Small European fitter (ESM). This is a special attachment type with a 1 3/8" center hole and a 2" drop. A screw-cap is removed, and the shade is positioned to rest on the flat part of the cap. Then, the cap is turned back on, holding the shade in place. Make double sure of the 1 3/8" inner diameter measurement, as different measurements are possible for similar attachment types.
